Congratulations to our Student of the Week, she is an excellent student.  She excels in the three A's, Attendance, Attitude and Academic.  Her attendance is awesome.  She comes to school everyday, on time, with all of her materials (homework and food), and is ready to learn.  Her attitude is remarkable.  She is very kind to her peers and teachers.  Her Academic performance is stellar.  She looks, listens, follows all directions the first time they are given, is proactive, and takes responsibility for her own learning.  Keep up the super hard work!

Congratulations to our first Student of the Week!  He is a model student.  He is safe, he is kind to his peers, and follows class and yard rules.  He is respectful, he follows directions the first time they are given.  He is responsible, he comes to school everyday, on time, and is ready to learn.  He listens to the teacher, looks at what is being taught, and contributes to class discussions.  He takes pride in his work, he writes neatly and makes sure he reads and follows all directions on his paper.  Keep up the awesome and hard work!

Congratulations to our Student of the Month.  She is a kind and safe citizen.  She is respectful, she follows directions the first time they are given.  She is responsible, she completes and turns in all of her work on time.  She has a resilient spirit, she tries hard and does not give up.  Continue the hard work and perseverance!

Art with Mr. Radsch

We had our first art lesson with our art teacher, Mr. Radsch.  We learned about the six elements of art, we wrote them down in our Art Journal.  Next week we will learn about making a landscape.

Congratulations to our Student of the Month. She is the only one who has received the Student of the Week award twice, from our class this year. She continues to strive in class. She is a very responsible learner. She makes sure she's engaged in our lessons. What set her apart from others lately is her ability to use complete sentences when answering comprehension questions. She answers in a clear, thoughtful and intelligent manner. Keep up the spectacular job!

He was ill for a couple of days but was focused when he came back to class. Upon his return, he did the classwork he missed in class as well as the homework. Keep up the hard work!
