Student of the Week

Congratulations to our first Student of the Week (S.O.T.W.). She was the S.O.T.W. for the week of September 20, 2010. The first week in a new grade, room, and with a new teacher can be pretty tough. She did an excellent job being a good role model. She was picked because she was safe, respectful, and responsible. She was kind to her classmates, she followed directions the first time they were given and, she looked, listened and participated in class.

Our Student of the Week for the week of September 27, 2010 did an excellent job fulfilling the three criteria necessary to be considered for the award (Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible). She was kind to her peers, was constantly focused and often participated in all classroom activities. Congratulations!

Yay, Computer Lab!

Today, we went to the computer lab. We learned how to get into ST Math from the Mind Research Institute. We sit at the same computer each time we go to the lab.

We learned how to log in using our password. We have to memorize 16 different pictures, letters, and numbers.

We use the mouse to help Jiji cross a path. We solve different math activities. These activities help us do our math in our classroom.

There are a lot of levels. We need to complete all of them by the end of the school year.
